League of Legends: Wild Rift is the abridged strategy mobile video game version of the popular League of Legends on PC, wherein an all-new map is set for the stage of the classic fast-paced 5v5 strategic matches—all right in there at the convenience of your phone. A successful MOBA game by Riot Games for Windows and Mac, League of Legends lets you play the role of a Champion, who must work together with other players and Champions in order to defeat the opposing team’s Nexus—the structure that each team must protect throughout the match. Similar to other MOBAs, you can select from a huge cast of Champions, all unique in their character stories and skills on the battlefield.

From PC to Mobile

League of Legends: Wild Rift is pretty much just the mobile version of League of Legends. However, Riot Games didn’t fully port everything from the original game. Instead, it gave Wild Rift new stuff that would make it a bit more unique from LoL. For one, the Wild Rift is a new but familiar 5v5 map based on the original Summoner’s Rift, streamlined for faster games and perfect for mobile gaming. You can spend up to just 20 minutes in a match, compared to the longer matches that take place on PC. There’s even a responsive dual-stick control scheme on this version to help you have more accurate control over your movement and skill shots. Wild Rift also brings back the familiar cast of 40 Champions of League of Legends, and will slowly bring over other favorites over time. If you’re a veteran player of League of Legends, Wild Rift will be easy to pick up. The Ranked ladder is a feature here, as well, and team co-op with friends comes with this new adventure. Another popular MOBA tradition is the ability to acquire various character skins and outfits for your fave Champions, which you can base on different themes like holidays or color schemes. The feature even comes with an all-new 3D model viewer. Lastly, the microtransactions are back, but all Champions are earned for free. It’s all about your skill on the battlefield when you start aiming for victory.
